Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market
The Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market (LDFM) was officially created in 2014 and grew out of the years of experience and effort of the Lubbock Downtown Art Market (DAM). The DAM has been connecting local producers and consumers of art for years. In addition, fresh produce and some local foods had always been available. In 2014 the DAM was moved to be a part of the First Friday Art Trail at the Tornado Gallery, and the Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market (LDFM) was officially born.
Expanding on this long journey of connecting local producers (of art, crafts, and food) with local consumers, 2014 was special as the inaugural year for the LDFM.

2nd Sunday Art Market @made.in.lubbock (34th and Elgin) This Sunday from 11-4! Local artists and handmade vendors outside. This is a free, public event. Artists keep all money made from their sales.

First Friday Art Trail
First Friday Art Trail is a free, self-guided public art happening that has taken Lubbock to the forefront of the Texas art scene. Held predominately in the Lubbock Cultural District, this event brings together collectors, artists and community friends for an evening of art, music and fun. Featuring a variety of art centers, museums, galleries and businesses, First Friday Art Trail offers an ever-changing array of art exhibits in all media. Whether an avid art collector or a lover of beautiful things, First Friday Art Trail offers something for everyone!
Held from 6-9 p.m., rain or shine, on the first Friday of every month, this progressive art event is sure to delight visitors with a plethora of art experiences. Trail goers can grab a map and explore the trail on their own, or jump aboard one of five free First Friday Trolleys and ride to the galleries along the downtown route.
